  This is an in-office opportunity located at 651 Downing Pines Rd West Monroe, LA 71292.

  Job Summary

  The Talent Acquisition Associate is responsible for the workforce planning initiatives including management of the complete lifecycle recruitment process, candidate sourcing and assessment, hiring practices, affirmative action compliance and diversity for the company. The Talent Acquisition Associate will provide administrative support to HR with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The Talent Acquisition Associate will have a good knowledge of all specialized functions in the company, a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices are essential.

  Job Duties and Responsibilities

  Publicize openings by posting them in appropriate outlets and work toward developing a pool of qualified individuals.

  Screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone or in person).

  Make recommendations for hire (or not hire) and deliver employment offers.

  Communicate important employment information during delivery of contingent employment offers (i.e. benefits, compensation, etc.)

  Complete pre-employment screening requirements including but not limited to reference, background checks and client requirements.

  Manage internal transfer process including screening, coordination of interview with hiring manager, transfer offer letter, etc.

  Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure updated information on the interview process status.

  Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations including Affirmative Action Plan compliance.

  Manage candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

  Manage application/resume file and retention according to company policy.

  Complete daily &\or weekly report on staffing goals, recruiting efforts and retention.

  May also assist with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, faxing, filing and collating.

  Professionally administer incoming calls ensuring phone calls are handled accordingly.

  Greet guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner.

  Will take and retrieve messages for various personnel.

  Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross-functional projects.

  Other HR related duties as assigned.

  Security

  Information and Physical Security is the responsibility of every employee. In your position you are required to safeguard the computer systems by following proper username and password management which includes selecting challenging passwords and committing them to memory, they should not be written down or stored where others can freely have access. This also includes securing your desk and workstation when you are not there. This includes locking your session and putting sensitive paperwork away when not physically at your desk. You are not to share your username or password with anyone. The physical security of our offices of are equal importance, never shadow or let someone shadow your entry into a Coast Professional, Inc. facility. If this occurs quickly report this action immediately. You are required to follow all Information Technology policies and procedures regarding the management of your system accounts and equipment. If you witness any security violation you should immediately report it to management.

  Qualifications Education

  High School Diploma or GED required.

  Experience

  Minimum of (1) one year customer service experience.

  Contact Center, Call Center, Debt Collection, Human Resources and Talent Acquisition experience preferred.

  Knowledge

  Principles and practices of customer service.

  Establish a good working relationship with team members and internal contacts in order to maintain and continuously strive to improve the level of overall services provided.

  Professional attitude, enthusiastic, and reliable.

  Excellent written/oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  Strong working knowledge of current federal/state regulations related to employment (i.e. AAP, OFCCP etc.).

  Computer proficiency with MS Office, internet search engines and social media. Working knowledge of modern office procedures, methods, and computer equipment.

  HRIS experience preferred.

  Ability to multi-task.

  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  Local travel may be involved and required.

  Clearance

  As a federal contractor, this position requires U.S. citizenship and security clearance granting access to classified information. The background investigation is conducted by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and is an evaluation of the whole person to determine suitability. The suitability review begins after a conditional offer of employment has been accepted and will include a review of your employment, education, residences, references, criminal history and credit, as an example. Some of the most important factors in an investigation are the individual’s honesty, candor, and thoroughness in the completion of their security forms. In rare instances, non-U.S. citizens with highly specialized skills and experience may also be considered for the security clearance process.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
