Applicants must hold the relevant residence status to work in Kuching. This role is not eligible for work visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
Handle inbound calls - preliminary troubleshooting and simulation of issues and gather basic troubleshooting information
Ticket management - log and follow up on Open tickets in the IDS ticketing system, provide timely status updates to customers and ensure tickets are solved (including escalating tickets, as appropriate) within applicable service parameters in accordance with the relevant IDS service level agreement (“SLA”)
Test fixes uploaded by our technical team to verify fixes and notify all customers for closure of tickets
General – to undertake such additional/miscellaneous duties from time to time to assist the Help Desk team and IDS Group function effectively as a whole
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate degree, Professional degree, Computer Science/ Information Technology, or equivalent
At least 1-2 years of experience is advantageous
Affinity with software development preferably with an understanding of the software development cycle
Good command of the English Language (Written & Oral). Speaking Spanish is advantageous
Able to communicate effectively
Able to work on shift, travel, and work beyond normal business hours when required
Team player, fast learner, and have great attention to detail
Highly motivated and able to work independently
