  Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Operational Intelligence SME to join our team in supporting a large US Government program in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  The Systems Engineer III focuses on DoD 5000.02 artifacts and documentation.

  The Systems Engineer III is responsible for applying systems engineering principles throughout the systems lifecycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement.

  The Systems Engineer III interacts with the Government regarding systems engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.

  The Systems Engineer III communicates with other TDP project personnel, Government stakeholders, and senior executives.

  The Systems Engineer III is responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288, to include: Technical Process Area, Enterprise Process Area, and Agreement Process Area.

  The Systems Engineer III contributes to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, initial capability documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents.

  The Systems Engineer III supervises and mentors subordinate project and Team ManTech staff.

  Basic Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree in STEM field.

  7 years of position-relevant work experience.

  DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level III.

  Experience with DoD 5000.02 documentation requirements.

  Experience with use case development.

  Experience with requirements derivation.

  Experience with developing technical project artifacts.

  Familiarity with Agile software development process.

  Experience with software engineering processes.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering.

  Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP), and DAWIA Systems Engineering Level III.

  Clearance Requirements:

  Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility

  Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility prior to starting this position.

  Physical Requirements:

  Use of computers and an ability for productivity in a government office environment within the APG

  Ability to travel within the APG to visit various physical customer locations.

  The projected compensation range for this position is $121,800-$204,100. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
