This team will focus on product development and product strategy for OHAI, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment. We are unencumbered and will need your contribution to make it a world class engineering center with the focus on excellence.

  As a System Engineer you will be responsible for alert and event response operations, service account management, certificate management, change control and implementation operations, vulnerability management, service requests, OS patching, and packaged software installation. You will support critical OHAI priorities such as patient safety, cyber security, as well as contributing to availability, reliability, and system performance. We are looking for someone who flourishes with working in large-scale, distributed systems and is always looking to identify and implement standard processes.

  Responsibilities

  Basic Qualifications:

  2-4 years of system engineering or system administration work experience.

  Eligible to receive an appropriate U.S. Government security clearance applicable for your position, which requires being a US Citizen.

  Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local laws

  Ability to participate in on-call rotation

  Ability to work 5 days on, 5 days off, 4 days on, 4 days off from 7am-7pm

  Experience handling production systems running Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, Linux or UNIX.

  Experience with Citrix deployment and administration.

  Experience with networking and network troubleshooting.

  Experience with IBM WebSphere.

  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering preferred.

  Hiring Range: from $27.02 to $54.13 per hour; from $56,200 to $112,600 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

  Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

  Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  11 paid holidays

  Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
