DEA is adding a Junior CAD Designer to its Spokane, Salt Lake City, orDenver Bridges and Structures Groups. The successful candidate will work witha team of designers and engineers and be responsible for providing CADdrafting during the planning, design, and construction of varioustransportation structure types (bridges, box culverts, tunnels,retaining walls, overhead sign structures, and hydraulic structures).Materials typically consist of reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete,and steel. The successful candidate will assist by demonstrating leadershipand initiative to provide sheet lists, detailing estimates, and completesets of working drawings for large and small projects. Experience withDepartment of Transportation (DOT) CAD standards is preferred,particularly in Colorado, Idaho, Utah, and Washington.
