Position Summary*The System Admin supports day-to-day maintenance and enhancement activities of HA’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role collaborates with HR team members and IT. This position also requires out of hours support when major issues surface.
The ideal candidate is a professional with exemplary problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and ability to pivot if work is reprioritized.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, HR Processes and Technology.
Key Responsibilities*
Perform day-to-day tasks in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
Oversee and maintain optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users
Collaborate with manager and HR team members to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommend and implement solutions
Manage permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users
Program custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports
Compile or assist with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and other stakeholders
Generate & refine recurring and ad hoc reports for HR, operational teams, and internal and external audit purposes
Work with HR, IT, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects
Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements
Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology
Manage the administration of HRIS security
Develop and maintain system documentation, documentation of system configurations and customizations, and an accurate data dictionary
Document and test system upgrades, enhancements, or integration with other Hawaiian Airlines or vendor systems to ensure adequate information security, data integrity, and continued functionality
Ensure data integrity, support data audits, and maintain documentation as needed for SOX compliance
Troubleshoot scheduled data feeds and support manual imports / exports of data across systems
Provide after hour support for major high priority issues with the HRIS as needed
Learn business analysis skills and some project management skills to organize and deliver HRIS related minor projects and system releases

Minimum Requirements*
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field; or an equivalent combination of education and related working experience
2 years of experience performing systems administration work which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades
Strong analytical skills and experience in creating reports
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including process documentation (i.e., flowcharts)
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Intermediate level in MS Office Suite
Experience in functional systems analysis, including analyzing and documenting business needs and an expert understanding of how applications support the business
Ability to provide after hour support for major high priority issues

/ Please note that the provided salary information serves as a general guideline. Our salary is determined by a candidate's experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations. The expected pay range is $62,000- $82,000./
