Tasks include provisioning switches and routers, and Packet Transport Systems (OMET, NGT, etc.) equipment. Collaborate with Planning, Design, Construction, and field maintenance organizations to address O&M issues and understand their needs in developing and completing projects. Meet project timelines and milestones, supply deliverables, and provide status updates as requested. Tasks include workload tracking, producing diagram drawings of work completed, and workload balancing. Represent System Operations in technical work groups, such as Equipment Specifications, Maintenance Standards & Procedures, and New Systems / Equipment Evaluation, as requested. Attend and communicate information from technical workgroups to the team lead to coordinate a group strategy. Collaborate with the team and management, working to prevent accidental system outages or problems. Analyze information and use logic to address work-related issues and problems, with an understanding of the impact on current and future programs and processes. Provide technical evaluation and participate in the evaluation process of control system technologies. Assist management with drafting/developing compliance processes and developing evidence to meet NERC CIP and FISMA standards. Assist Control Center craftsmen and engineers with the RSA one-time password authentication appliance, Cisco Secure Access Control Server (CSACS), Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), and Authentication Authorization & Accounting (AAA) Systems. Monitor SolarWinds & work with control centers, Field Engineers & craftsmen to troubleshoot any potential issue. Assist Control-Center/Field Craftsmen/Engineers in network integration tasks by completing device turn-up checklists. Develop test plans for project certification using best practices. Review and evaluate design packages (including drawings, material certifications, and submittals for conformance to the design specifications). Work safely and demonstrate safety awareness practices to facilitate environmental stewardship.Requirements:An associate or Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a directly related technical discipline is preferred.3 years of experience is required with an applicable associate or bachelor's degree in applicable fields. 5 years of experience is required without a degree or applicable degree.Experience must include direct work experience in Information Technology performing System Administration. Applicable certifications may count for 1 year of experience. Applicable certificati
