About Switchgear Blaster/Painter Two

　　Staging metal parts and welded assemblies on racks in preparation for blasting, painting and assembly processes.

　　Operating equipment that directs a flow of abrasiveâladen compressed air over the surface of sheet metal parts to remove scale, grease, rust, dirt, and other debris.

　　Expertly mixing primers and paints, and spraying prepared surfaces as per drawing specifications.

　　Unloading dried parts and staging for assembly.

　　Examining finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications and documents for quality control.

　　Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area.

　　Performing routine maintenance of sandblasting and painting equipment.

　　Ensuring quality and efficiency by completing the job task faster than estimated hours.

　　Serving as a model and coaching 2nd and 3rd Class Blaster/Painters.

　　3 years of experience in blasting and painting in a commercial or industrial industry.
