Location Description Post Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Lakeville has all the benefits of smaller town living with access to everything a large metropolitan area has to offer. Responsibilities Responsible for the overall management of Post Consumer Brands environmental sustainability and compliance programs. Responsible for strategy development and assisting locations with establishing clear objectives and tactics to achieve company goals and objectives as they pertain to ESG. Sustainability Leadership and Program Management Serve as primary PCB ESG representative on Post Holdings’ ESG committee Establish and lead PCB environmental sustainability cross-functional steering committee Collaborate with senior executives as well as manufacturing and distribution locations to set the strategy, objectives and priorities for sustainability initiatives Formulate, drive, and track progress against company objectives on water, waste and energy use to achieve publicly-stated goals Serve as the subject matter expert for all matters related to ESG (including policy and trend implications) Work with internal stakeholders to compile and analyze data as well as set action plans Collaborate with Corporate Communications, Sales, Marketing and Post Holdings to create communications and contribute to periodic reports and campaigns Lead environmental sustainability goal-setting, establishing objectives/goals for priority environmental sustainability topics Assist manufacturing and distribution sites with goal-setting Provide technical corporate social responsibility (CSR) assistance and support to manufacturing and DC locations Work in concert with Corporate Engineering to quantify environmental benefits of capital projects and maintain an inventory of benefits. Serve as a subject matter expert for environmental compliance questions related to air, water, waste, and DOT HazMat for manufacturing and distribution locations Assist with and track completion of routine environmental submittals related to air, water, and waste Data Management Establish and manage an environmental data tracking system Work with all locations to ensure all key data is captured and tracked Serve as the subject matter expert within the organization with customer and stakeholder portals and platforms used for submitting ESG data (Example: THESIS, Inspectorio, etc.) Compliance and Reporting Lead company reporting and disclosure efforts including, but not limited to, the Carbon Disclosure Project, MSCI, Sustainalytics, and SSAS & TCFD data requirements with support from Post Holdings Ensure timely, consistent status reporting of ESG initiatives and KPIs Verify required environmental inspections and submittals are occurring per regulatory requirement Stakeholder Management Serve as the lead for all corporate social responsibility audits requested by customers (PL and branded) and work with audited sites to ensure timely completion of corrective actions. Field frequent and extensive customer and consumer sustainability requests and inquiries Analyze and track customer goals and requirements Working Location: Hybrid This role is located at the Lakeville, MN Corporate office Typical hybrid schedule includes 3 days in-office with remote flexibility up to 2 days a week. #LI-hybrid Qualifications Education: 4-year degree required with an engineering, sustainability or environmental emphasis, preferred. Experience: 3-5 years’ experience setting strategy and managing environmental sustainability efforts, additional experience overseeing social responsibility audits and managing customer sustainability surveys desirable. Skills: Extensive technical knowledge of sustainability matters, ability to set strategy and convert strategy to tactical objectives, ability to analyze and understand industrial operations including utilities. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate and conduct work at any level within the organization.Must budget time across multiple activities with (sometimes) conflicting deadlines and priorities. Job duties have significant implications on overall business risk with achieving sustainability goals and objectives. Job Complexity Internal – Works with various levels within the organization and all PCB locations within the U.S. and Canada, with emphasis on production facilities and distribution centers. Extensive interaction with Plant and Distribution Center Managers, Plant Engineering Managers, Human Resources, Legal and site and corporate EHS. External – Extensive contact with consultants, local utilities, and customer ESG contacts at all company locations within the U.S. and Canada. Problem Solving: This individual will be the face of sustainability for the organization. They must be strategic in thought yet have the aptitude to work with locations on tactical plans to achieve goals and objectives. Work Structure: Works under the general guidance of the Sr. Director of Environmental, Health & Safety with a high degree of autonomy. Manages environmental compliance and multiple sustainability priorities across all PCB locations within the U.S. and Canada.
