HealthPartners is currently hiring for a Sustainability Analyst Associate. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: Bachelor's degree in the natural sciences, environmental studies, ecology, public policy or related field. Relevant experience will be considered for those holding a degree in other areas. Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: None Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of environmental sustainability terms, practices and organizations. Strong research skills and ability to analyze and translate results into actionable information to communicate outcomes. High degree of familiarity in software packages (for example: MS Office products including MS Access or knowledge of database systems, Excel spreadsheets and other graphical packages.) Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to develop presentations. Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new opportunities. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: One year of relevant experience. Advanced user of Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Carbon accounting experience desired, but not required. Previous health care experience desired, but not required. POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT: Responsible for assisting HealthPartners (HP) sustainability program leadership with implementing a company-wide program of sustainability practices resulting in good, equitable stewardship through the reduction of carbon footprint, minimization of waste, conservation of energy, and intelligent use of resources. Essential Duties: % Of Time (minimum 5% increments) 1. Assists HP sustainability leadership in designing, implementing and managing innovative programs that promote effective sustainability efforts across the HealthPartners family of organizations. 15% 2. Collects, compiles and evaluates data for use in trending, tracking, to assess progress toward established HP goals, and to provide rationale for recommended changes in key performance areas. 15% 3. Supports and provides guidance to sustainability leadership teams. Accountabilities include assisting in the development of annual work plans, drafting agendas and reports, following up on tasks in between meetings, and providing accurate information in a timely manner. 15% 4. Provides content and support for internal sustainability webpages and communications. 10% 5. Organizes internal stakeholder engagement events at various locations throughout the year including Earth Day celebrations, fall sustainability events, and tabling events at employee health and well-being fairs. 10% 6. Assists sustainability and facility leadership with grant applications, funding, implementation, and completion on grant follow-up reporting requirements. 10% 7. Acts as lead in compiling information for inclusion on sustainability recognition applications, such as Practice Greenhealth. 10% 8. Represents HP in various internal and external stakeholder groups. 10% 9.
