Local Engineering firm has an immediate opening in the surveying department for a Survey Technician. Qualified applicants should be capable of working outdoors in all types of weather (rain, extreme heat, etc.) fulltime. Candidates should be eager to learn, work well with survey team members and be detail oriented. Job duties will include performing topographic field surveys for design purposes, boundary and construction stakeout surveys. Position requires the ability to utilize field data collectors, setting up GPS equipment and performing field sketches, be able to swing a hammer, ability to traverse various types of terrain and lift and carry equipment for extended periods of time. Related responsibilities include driving wood stakes, rebar pins and clearing brush. Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required.. Must possess Valid Pennsylvania Drivers License.
