　　 Summary of Need:

　　The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others.

　　 Job duties include, but are not limited to: Being ready to respond and equipped to deal with a medical emergency. Quickly assessing patient needs. Treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma. Performing minor medical operations. Cleaning wounds. Drawing blood. Maintaining emergency room care standards. Assisting with insurance paperwork. Ensuring the efficiency of the patient check-in process. Displaying strong decision-making skills in emergency scenarios.

　　 Qualifications/Requirements:

　　BSN plus ACLS, BLS ; PALS Required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required

　　NIHSS Certification required

　　 Shift/Schedule:

　　Mid shift - 11am-11pm EOW is required -block scheduling will not be accommodated epic experience peds experience
