　　We are looking for a full-time OR Registered Nurse to join our River North Procedural team! This position is located at 900 N. Kingsbury.

　　The schedule for this 40-hour per week position is Monday through Friday, 6:30 am – 3 pm and could vary based on the needs of the unit. Must have flexible schedule with potential for weekend coverage.

　　This position is responsible for providing patient focused surgical care.

　　Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

　　Maintains clinical expertise in the surgical aspects of patient care.

　　Work closely with physicians and staff to provide exceptional, compassionate patient care.

　　Directs all aspects of patient surgical care completing the nursing process in the operating room.

　　Manages the nursing care for patients throughout the surgical preoperative, intraoperative, and immediate postoperative phases.

　　Performs an initial preoperative assessment, introduces self to the patient and family, verifies patient's identity and explains the subsequent phases of surgery.

　　Responsible for interoperative and immediate postoperative care.

　　Collaborates with physicians, staff, and others as necessary to coordinate patient’s complete care and service.

　　Perform procedures within the RN scope of practice and established company policies.

　　Assist with other duties as needed.

　　FCI may require all applicants to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 before commencing employment. New hires will be required to furnish proof of full vaccination prior to their start date. There may be alternative for an approved exemption based on bona fide medical or religious grounds.

　　Registered Nurse with current Illinois license. BSN preferred.

　　Current BLS and ACLS certification required.

　　Strong technical and clinical assessment skills.

　　Understands and monitors compliance with applicable Accreditation Standards, namely AAAHC. Assures compliance with Regulatory Standards.

　　Practices in accordance with applicable Practice Acts as described in the Illinois Code of Regulations.

　　Stays up to date on infection control issues relative to the surgical center.

　　Maintains all required regulatory records, such as: Equipment log, Doctor’s Preference Cards, Autoclave Sterilization Log, and refrigerator logs.

　　Flexibility with on-site work schedule including rare on-call coverage.

　　1-2 years of surgical experience is required.

　　Women’s health and urology experience preferred.

　　Excellent work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

　　Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail.

　　Excellent time-management, customer service, and critical-thinking skills.

　　Ability to work well in a very fast-paced environment with a high patient volume, while maintaining composure and an individualized, compassionate approach to patient care.
