Our brand new surgery suites at CHI Health St. Francis have it all, including:

Seven operating rooms with the most advanced technology in town.

State-of-the-art imaging allows for patient’s scans to be on large screens above the operating table, so the surgeon never has to leave the surgical field

Convenient, separate entrance on the west side of the hospital with parking right in front (entrance D)

Private pre-and post-recovery rooms with plenty of room for family

Two brand new endoscopy rooms and a sterile processing department

Expert surgical team with decades of experience

Comfortable environment and friendly staff

Responsibilities

Up to $10,000 Sign on Bonus Available

Up to $7,000 in Education Assistance Available

Would consider a candidate interested in part-time employment

Prepares the operating room for surgical procedures by ensuring the equipment is functioning properly and safely

Prepares the operating room and the sterile field for surgical procedures by preparing sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment using sterile technique

Demonstrates knowledge of human anatomy and pathophysiology and how it relates to the patient and surgical procedure

Anticipates usual and unexpected events during the surgical procedure and responds in an efficient manner

Handles and processes surgical specimens according to established policy/procedure

Serves as a preceptor in training and orientation of fellow staff members and students

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program

Certification in Surgical Technology preferred

Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Pay Range

$23.98 - $34.78 /hour
