　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　You will manage the OR and Central Sterile in this Surgical Services Manager position.

　　You will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a productive manner.

　　You will demonstrate interdepartmental support and teamwork through a supportive and collaborative approach.

　　You will ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures, mandatory requirements, and licensure and certification requirements.

　　You will respond in a timely manner to requests for information or follow-up with physician, staff, or patient issues.

　　Your role provides direction and acts as resource to other members of the specialty team to ensure comprehensive and safe patient care.

　　Your role is responsible for circulating cases as needed to surgical patients.

　　You will collaborate with staff and the director to plan and implement high quality patient care.

　　Your role entails potential for exposure to hazardous medications as defined by TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center’s Hazardous Drug Policy as either hazardous or antineoplastic. All facility-endorsed risk mitigation strategies for handling hazardous medications must be followed appropriately.

　　What qualifications you will need:

　　Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing

　　Current Tennessee RN license

　　Associate Degree required; BS/BSN preferred

　　Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

　　Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

　　PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date

　　2-5 yrs OR and Supervisory experience preferred

　　Parkridge East Hospital is a 120+ bed facility in East Ridge. We provide a full range of medical and surgical services. These services include orthopedics and robotic surgery. We have a 24/7 Emergency Department. This ED is recognized by the Society of Chest Pain Centers as an Accredited Chest Pain Center. The facility also offers obstetrical care and complex gynecological procedures. We also hold a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Specialized providers in the NICU include neonatologists, neonatal nurses and respiratory therapists. These staff are on site at all times. Visit us for excellent general and OB care!
