OurHenderson mine and mill are an hour's drive apart - separated by theContinental Divide and a 15-mile conveyor system (10 miles isunderground). 　　Description:Highly skilled mechanic who safely perform diagnostic, maintenance,instillation, and repair of equipment and systems in the underground shaftconveyances, level stations and hoisting apparatus.

　　Perform component diagnostic, replacement, instillation and repairson, but not limited to: Areas and systems within the shaft whichincludes: conveyances, all level stations, hoisting systems and cages.Types of maintenance of the hoisting system could include slick line, ropeand liner changes ext.Perform mechanical and lubrication preventative maintenance on hoistingsystems including monthly hoist systems PM, semi-annual hoist PM, andannual hoist PM.Prioritize and make decisions regarding equipment repair as needed.Perform shaft and equipment inspections including safety checks on theshaft, rope, clamps, shoes, rollers and other components.Train and mentor other employees.Required to act as relief hoist operator.Complete work area inspections and Housekeeping duties.May perform avalanche control duties and snow removal activities whichcould include operating Snow Plows and blowers.Perform as a Fill-in Supervisor as needed.May operate equipment such as: light duty vehicles, front-endloaders, track hoes, snow plows, and motor graders.Qualifications include but are not limited to:Minimum Requirements

　　Two (2) years' experience in mechanical/maintenance crafts(including welder, boilermaker, machinist or facilitymaintenance/construction) or a combination of education and experience inindustrial mechanical repair and maintenance.Required to pass hoist operator examination - required by federalgovernment, certified by MSHAMust be able to receive and maintain Explosive Possessor Certificationthrough BATFAbility to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-relatedinstructions and procedures in EnglishAbility to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, jobprocedures, and applicable safety standardsAbility read and use schematics and blueprintsTime management skillsPreferred Qualifications:- High School Diploma or GED
