We are at the forefront of ultrafast fulfillment and delivery innovation and are in the midst of building the next big thing.You will be working as a member of the Supply Chain and Topology team supporting faster than same day delivery across North America. Our team owns topology and coverage optimization of our last mile fulfillment network, both for dedicated fulfillment centers and third-party retail locations. We also develop long-term strategies for expansion planning and innovative delivery models. The Supply Chain Manager is expected to deal with ambiguity, drive insights, and leverage strong problem-solving skills to lead critical business decisions. This role requires the ability to design sustainable solutions and collaborate and influence across stakeholder teams including Retail, Finance, Tech, and Operations. The Supply Chain Manager must have appropriate executive presence to devise strategies for ultra-fast delivery products and present business cases to senior leadership.Key job responsibilities- Build delivery and topology models that can answer complex and integrated problems, balancing factors such as customer coverage, building capacity, speed, and transportation costs- Drive innovation in simplifying business models and processes- Work through ambiguity, develop business strategies with reasonable assumptions, and validate and modify assumptions along a project roadmap- Manage large data sources and deep dive data to drive critical business decisions- Collaborate with other teams to drive delivery strategy and topology plans to execution- Manage execution path of projects, evaluate risks and propose alternative paths if applicable- Coordinate with field partners and other execution teams to continuously improve delivery quality and customer experience- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentalityWe are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Bellevue, WA, USA- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Computer Science, Mathematics, Supply Chain or related field- 3+ years relevant experience in supply chain, operations, large stakeholders management, cost and process improvements- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel- Experience with analytical tools such as SQL or Tableau- Experience with data mining and data analysis- Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Supply Chain or related field- Executive level written and oral communication skills- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills to drive decisions with data in a business environment- Proven ability to manage multiple competing projects and priorities simultaneously with attention to detailOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $62,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $150,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
