In charge of developing and maintaining global sourcing inspecific category. Accountable for managing, updating, and maintainingcost. Responsible for cost, delivery, quality, and performance of thepurchasing team. Develops, implements, and maintains purchasing strategythat supports company\'s strategic plan. Evaluates and understandsconditions to maintain, control, and reduce costs. Responsible forevaluating, managing, and reporting out on vendor(s) performance viautilization of scorecards. Job Requirements: A bachelor\'s degree in arelated field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Atleast five years of managerial experience in a manufacturingorganization with taking on progressively more complex roles. Previousexperience in a global organization; global platform managementpreferred Strong oral and written communication skills to effectivelycommunicate with engineering and manufacturing staff along with supplierand customer personnel in a manner to effectively further Joa\'soperation objectives. Proven leadership abilities to inspire and coachpeers and other internal customers to accomplish strategic and tacticalgoals and related tasks. This includes abilities that correspond toleadership, such as training and motivating employees, developing, andexecuting strategic business plans, developing, and administeringbudgets.
