Supply Chain Management Engineer (Entry Level) - Strongsville, OH - JOB 23-00705Salary Range: $55K - $65K Permanent Position with BenefitsA Strongsville Manufacturing Company is seeking a Supply Chain Management Engineer. Key responsibilities are to provide technical support for project cost estimations. Seek out additional partners and vendors (i.e., steel vendors, paint, machine shops, etc.). Support the following: PR submittal process, Material Master creation in SAP, addressing technical questions from vendors during the quotation process. Also provides some logistic support related to incoming materials, parts, as needed.Requirements:• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, etc.)• 1-2 years' experience within an engineering discipline in a project-oriented role.• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.• Experience with Machining & Manufacturing of chemical process equipment preferred.• Experience/Knowledge with logistics (regulations, export control, incoterms, Packing, etc.) preferred.• Familiar with CAD/Solid-Edge and database software (i.e. SmarTeam) preferred• Experience with scheduling (MS-Project/CA PPM) preferred.• Experience with SAP-System software preferred.• Must have good communication skills (written & verbal)• Must have good organizational skills.• Must be able to work well in a team environment.Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.Due to the large amount of resumes we expect to receive only the most qualified candidates will be contacted.
