We are currently seeking a full-time, Supply Chain Assistant to join our Clinical Operations team. This position partners with cross functional teams to ensure seamless communication with vendors in support of on-time delivery to Medpace and our partner sites. The Supply Chain Assistant will ensure delivery commitments for vendors supplied products align with study timelines. If you are an early career Supply Chain Professional that wants an exciting opportunity where you leverage your previous expertise, have the freedom to drive process improvements and can grow your career even further, then this is the opportunity for you.ResponsibilitiesContinuously reviews open orders reports and communicates need dates to vendors.Communicates delivery updates regularly with internal stakeholders and works to mitigate shortages and delays.Adjust plans & iterate Supply Chain setup when study requirements change.Effectively monitors flow of goods through the inventory management system and warehouse physical storage.Review's study specific inventory and alerts teams to prevent stockouts.Assist in maintaining & reviewing vendor performance ratings.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that further streamline our processesQualificationsHS dimploma required2+ years of Managing Vendors, Purchasing, Fulfillment or Logistics experience. Clinical Trial experience is a plus but not requiredDemonstrated experience working and leading in a cross functional environment.Ability to work with internal and external customers/vendors to meet project-specific goalsAbility to manage high volume work and meet rigorous deadlinesKnowledge of transportation/logistics - customs terminology is preferredFlexibility to strategically manage negotiations with minimal oversightAbility to interact with site, clients, and other functional areas as project contact for escalated Supply Chain issues and questionsAbility to manage time and project requirements based on study deliverablesMedpace OverviewMedpace is a full-service clinical contract research organization (CRO).
