Position Overview
The Coca-Cola's Summer Internship program is an 8-10 week experience at our headquarters in Atlanta, GA. The Transition Project Manager's role is to partner with Transition leader and team to successfully execute strategic infrastructure projects. They will provide support to an internal cross function team, partner with the 3rd party entities to build and execute work plans, cadences and reporting to accomplish this objective.
Role Description
This role will partner with Transition lead to complete transition activities to support changes in manufacturing structure or platform. Activities include partnering with co-packers to transition and start-up North America Operating Unit (NAOU) supply chain activities. This will include coordinating cross functional planning process, execution, and management reporting.
Function Specific Activities/Key Responsibilities
Support North America cross-functional Transition team and management routines to effectively plan for and execute North America strategic infrastructure changes.
Develop, monitor and execute a detailed Joint Transition Plan with 3rd parties or NAOU region for respective plants, warehouses and distribution including: project specific key activities and milestones, functional interdependencies, resource requirements, HR change management plan, stakeholder communication plan, issue escalation and resolution and necessary contingency planning activity.
Plan, coordinate and execute cross functional activities, meeting routines, reporting and follow ups to enable team alignment and successful execution.
What We Are Looking For
Ability to support and influence cross functional teams. Ability to problem solve and gain alignment across multiple organizations and levels. (NAOU/3rd Party) Ability to clearly communicate with multiple levels of the organization. Project management experience and Microsoft Teams/PowerPoint/Excel skills will be helpful.
What You Will Learn and Experience
The project manager will gain experience and expertise in leading cross functional and cross company strategic business initiatives, program management, and change management. Specific skills include influencing, communicating, planning and implementation of complex projects.
Education Requirements
Currently pursuing a Master's degree, with an expected graduation date no earlier than December 2024.
Prior work experience in Supply Chain, Warehouse, Transportation, and/or Engineering is beneficial
Compensation
$6413 per month
