I. Purpose of Position
Take responsibility of mechanical parts supplier quality management
II. Key Responsibilities
Supplier development, supplier evaluation/assessment and supplier audit. Assure the Quality of materials and processes at Supplier places. Solve the qualify issue with suppliers to maintain the smooth running on production line. Work with Sourcing team for supplier identification, selection, assessment, and qualification. Review changes in existing designs, and help sample evaluation, inspection & qualification. Investigate and analyze field failure data to improve quality. Plan, define, implement, and maintain the new/current flow chart of quality inspection & component qualification, and control points. Support the qualification of VAVE project, NPI and transfer project. Quality tool/mold management. Other tasks assigned by Supervisor.
III. Education, Background and Skill Requirements
Bachelor or above which major in mechanical or material, etc. More than 5 years SQE relative working experience. Working knowledge of Six Sigma/CPK principles and concepts. VES/Lean Manufacturing experience is preferred. Willing to travel, ability to handle complexity and work under pressure. Strong communication skills and good oral English. Be familiar with the understanding of engineering drawings and explain their requirements correctly.
