Summary The incumbent serves as the Program Specialist to the Fargo VA Health Care System 's Chief, Health Administration Service (HAS). This announcement has been extended until 2-1-24. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Incumbent must be proficient in the use of a personal computer and computer systems. Provides full administration of all aspects associated with the frontline Revenue Accreditation of the organization Develop, analyze, evaluate, advise and improve the effectiveness of work methods and procedures. Assures all standards of regulatory and accrediting agencies are continuously met in full. Incumbent completes and prepares reports, monitors, updates, and all necessary documentation local, VISN, and national requirements Must have knowledge, flexibility, and experience to interface with individuals at all levels of the Medical Center, including clinical and administrative services. Assists the Manager, Health Administration in furnishing support to Facility Leadership regarding Health Administration issues. Participates with other staff in consulting with and advising Leadership on Health Administration functions, policies, programs, and shares in the responsibility for top management actions. Responsible for supervising, rating, disciplinary and reward actions of employees under direct supervision. Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
