Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PRODUCTION SPECIALIST in the Waterfront Operations of NAVAL SHIP REPAIR FACILITY . ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below. Responsibilities You will plan, manage, execute, monitor, and direct complex repairs and modernization on a wide variety of shipboard equipment. You will assign work to subordinate units based on project schedules, priorities, difficulty of the task and capabilities. You will make decisions and give direction on technical and non-technical problem solving present by subordinate supervisory. You will ensure proper preparation or maintenance of project strategies, operating instructions and work plans. You will develop and implement production control programs and provide planning, coordination, and execution for all carrier maintenance, repairs and modernization within the work package as scheduled. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing the planning and execution phases of carrier maintenance and directing complex repairs and modernization on a wide variety of shipboard equipment.
