Qualifications To qualify for this position, you must have either: -IT-related experience demonstrating each of these four competencies: 1) Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail; 2) Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services; 3) Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately; 4) Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations; OR -a bachelor's or higher degree from an accredited or pre-accredited college or university in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems, or networks. In addition to the basic requirements above, you must meet the following requirements: To qualify for the GS-14 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-13 level defined as managing enterprise-wide IT services in Cloud Infrastructure and Services and DevSecOps capabilities and toolsets to provide an efficient and effective pipeline of development and operations services. Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas: Ability to develop, implement and/or coordinate activities for the protection and restoration of IT systems services and capabilities. Skill in deployment of applications, automation, and services in the cloud computing environments. Knowledge of management of product lifecycles in support of DevOps and DevSecOps Service Delivery pipelines. Ability to Identify employee developmental needs and provide or arrange for training (formal and on-the-job) to maintain and improve job performance. Ability in promoting an environment in which employees are empowered to participate in and contribute to effective mission accomplishment. Skill in written and oral communication. Ability to support senior management in obtaining feedback from stakeholders and achieve consensus. Knowledge in supervisory and management policies and principles. Ability to meet with customer to assess customer satisfaction, explain organization policy and procedures, and resolve problems that arise.
