Summary This position is located within the Directorate of Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (DFMWR) Support Services Division. Responsibilities Serves as the supervisor for an assigned Customer Support Team. Supervises employees performing routine and recurring assignments in the planning delivery of Information Technology customer support services. Performs a full range of supervisory duties. Sets priorities, work schedules, makes assignments, defines duties and responsibilities over assigned personnel. Assigns work, enforces standards, and conducts performance counseling. Provides information and assistance to customers to include system hardware/software installations, configuration, upgrades and troubleshooting. Evaluates methods and procedures and recommends changes in methods and practices as needed. Presents formal and information training to customers. Reports and responds to customer requests. Applies information assurance policy, principles, and practices. Serves as liaison for MIS System with IMCOM G6, G9 Tech Services, and Vermont Systems. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume. Managerial work experience, education, and/or specialized training to demonstrate IT knowledge and skill in: Participating in the planning and delivery of a full range of IT customer support services; Installing, configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting hardware and software components; Presenting formal and informal training and assistance to customers; Reporting, responding to, and resolving customer requests. Highly Preferred Criteria: (All answers to the Highly Preferred criteria must be visible in your resume to get credit). Possess one-year supervisory experience (MWR or similar civilian activity). Possess two years of Information Technology troubleshooting experience with various systems to include RecTrac or similar point of sale system. Possess a Security Plus Certificate and/or IAT-II Technical Certification. Possess experience in the procurment process for IT equipment and processing CHESS approval.
