About the Position: The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-14 to 15. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities. Responsibilities Plans, directs, coordinates, and reviews the work of Provisioning teams and individuals in carrying out assigned functional and administrative responsibilities. Periodically reviews the position structure of the branch supervised to assure optimum balance between economy, efficiency, and skill utilization. Directs and monitors all the efforts of a professional, technical, and administrative workforce engaged in planning, coordinating, and executing provisioning requirements across numerous programs. Validates and ensures that various system configuration structures identified by the bill of materials are in alignment with maintenance concepts. Collaborates with Program Manager (PM) or Weapon System Team in development of integrated Logistics Support plans, which address all of the principal elements of support for provisioning aspects of the total system life cycle. Chairs provisioning conferences and attends meetings as a representative of CECOM LCMC concerning assigned weapon system to ensure quality of data uploaded as the Provisioning Parts List (PPL Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Who May Apply: Only applicants who meet one of the employment authority categories below are eligible to apply for this job. Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-03). Specialized experience is defined as: Experience leading a workforce to support and maintain equipment and weapon systems operations in any of the following areas maintenance, supply, and repair; Experience providing policy and procedural guidance on equipment and weapon systems operations in any of the following areas maintenance, supply and repair. Review and analyze contract acquisition for provisioning documentation. SUPERVISORY ASSESSMENT STATEMENT Applicants to this announcement referred for consideration to selecting officials, may be asked to complete pre-employment assessments. The assessments will supplement the interview process, with the results being one data element among several used to evaluate a candidate's technical skills, supervisory abilities, and position fit. Candidates will be notified with separate instructions should they be required to complete the assessments. This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-04 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS-14 grade Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS-15 grade step 05 in the broadband. The Control Point for this position is equivalent to GS-15 step 6 at $191,289 including locality at the rate of 33.26%. Management will set the selectee's pay for this position within the control point salary range consistent with the qualifications and education of the selectee and the expected contribution for the position or if the incumbent's salary currently exceeds the GS-15, step 06 level the incumbent' s salary will be put on a salary control point at the incumbents existing salary. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Acquisition Leadership Material Management Planning and Evaluating Applicants must meet basic eligibility requirements such as minimum qualifications, and other regulatory requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
