Job Title: Supervisor, Warehouse (Avionics)Location: Woodinville, WASUMMARYThe Warehouse Supervisor will assign and monitor daily work to achieve departmental goals for receiving, picking, and shipping turn-around times, and on time delivery. Must maintain finance specified goals for inventory accuracy. Responsible for writing and updating all departmental work instructions and providing on the job training. Responsible for warehouse safety policy enforcement. Responsible for the highest level of customer service while maintaining a relationship with the staff that encourages teamwork and high morale. This is a working supervisor position and will be responsible for 2 to 5 employees. Managing overtime is a major responsibility as is controlling the expense of departmental supplies. The position will report directly to department Management who monitors daily operations and gives general direction and specific goals.Hourly rate ranges from $25.96 - $43.75 based on years of experience and qualifications. This is a full time, direct hire position, offering full medical, dental, vision, 401k, and life insurance. Ask your recruiter about additional perks to work with PAC.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESDaily Operational Maintenance* Oversee receiving, picking, and shipping activities.* Monitors daily sales orders and receiving reports to prioritize work* Interfaces with vendors that support the warehouse including the packaging material supplier, material handling equipment supplier and barcode software (in conjunction with IT).Supervisory* Takes primary responsibility for interdepartmental communication.* Ensure that all material is processed per Panasonic Quality Control instructions.* Responsible for warehouse layout and cleanliness. Maintains a 5S organization.* Responsible for staff development and training.* Maintains departmental training records and focuses on complete cross-training of the staff.* Writes warehouse performance appraisals / improvement plans and discusses with departmental Management.* Ensures all departmental functions are covered by work instructions and that these work instructions reflect the actual jobs being accomplished.* Monitors departmental expenses under direction of the departmental Director. The supervisor must pre-approve all departmental over time.Internal/External Audits and Organizational Support* Responsible for supporting internal and external audits of departmental processes and procedures.* Participates in the ISO9000 and ISO14000 quality processes.* Works closely with cycle count coordinator to establish root cause and corrective action for any picking, shipping or receiving errors.* Teaming with the departmental Director and the IT department responsible for investigating the cost effectiveness and selection of new technologies to reduce cost and improve productivity.WHAT IS REQUIRED:* Must have a High School Diploma or GED* Some College or APICS Certifications is preferred but not required.* Must have 3+ years' experience as a Lead or Supervisor in a Warehouse setting* Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.* Must have experience working with computerized warehouse systems. (Oracle and barcode is a plus)* Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs and be proficient with material handling equipment.* Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time and be able to perform repetitive material handling tasks.* Experience in the airline or aviation industry is preferred.* Ability to consider the needs of internal and external customers and focus on the highest level of custom
