Eaton’s IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Quality System Coordinator.

　　What you’ll do:

　　PRIMARY FUNCTION:

　　Management of the Quality System by planning, executing, reviewing, evaluating and improving Quality System processes and their sequence and interactions in order to ensure customer (and other stakeholders) requirements for both products and processes. This position has responsibility and shared authority of Quality System Management representative with Quality Manager.

　　ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

　　A. Ensures that processes needed for an ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016 based quality management system are established, implemented and maintained. Maintain ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016 certification.

　　B. Reports to top management on the performance of the quality management system and any need for improvement.

　　C. Ensures the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.

　　D. Establishes effective processes, procedures and methods for the areas of: Control of Documents, Control of Records, Management Review, Corrective and Preventive actions, and Internal Audits.

　　E. Leads the deployment of Eaton Quality System policies in local QMS.

　　F. Champions the deployment of elements of the Eaton Business System related to assessment (EBE, OpA, EQMS (Eaton Quality Management Systems), ELSS)

　　G. Achieves applicable Business Goals related to EHS Culture, Customer Satisfaction, Profit, Operational Excellence through Continual Improvement, and Organizational Capability.

　　H. Builds Organizational Capability by executing development plans (internal instructor and coach).

　　I. Supports selection and qualification process for Suppliers.

　　J. Has the authority to stop shipment and stop production to correct quality problems.

　　K. Participate in the revision of results of the OH&S management system and environment system

　　L. Develop, lead and promote a culture in the organization to support the expected results of the OH&S management system and environment system

　　M. Support the establishment and performance of the safety, health and environment committees.

　　N. Ensure and promote the continuous improvement in the OH&S management system and environment system

　　O. Ensure of the integration of the requirements of the OH&S management system in the areas of their responsibility.

　　P. Responsible to supervise the person in charge calibration the process.

　　Q. Responsible to coordinate quality auditors, main responsibilities, coordinate and approve overtime, vacations, and time off.

　　R. Participate, prepare and review data of the Monthly BOR division process presentation.

　　S. Participate, prepare and review data for Monthly Quality Review division presentation.

　　T. Support other departments (EHS/Engineering, CI, Etc.) in the process of external and internal audits.

　　Qualifications:

　　• Engineering Professional Degree.

　　• 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Management Systems inside a manufacturing environment

　　• Experience in QMS and industry standards such as ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016,

　　• Core Tools (APQP and CP, FMEA, SPC, MSA) and PPAP

　　• Spoken and written communication skills (Bilingual, fluent in both Spanish and English)

　　• Internal Auditor Certified

　　• Problem Resolution tools experience

　　• Computer skills
