As the Supervisor, OS&D you will be responsible for ensuring OS&D and Salvage processes operate with industry-leading quality, as well as leading a team to provide high productivity and outstanding service.Become a part of our growing, dynamic team and we'll help you build a career you can be proud of.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
Lead a team of XPO and vendor personnel to ensure OS&D and salvage freight is handled in the most optimal way company-wide
Develop standard processes for freight matching and coach team members to achieve performance goals
Lead decision-making on optimal disposal method for unresolvable OS&D freight in order to mitigate company loss
Communicate with customers, operations personnel, claims team members, executive management, and vendors to resolve issues around shipments identified as over, short, damaged, or refused
Support OS&D Management and CSRs at XPO facilities nationwide in properly following salvage processes and other operational initiatives, as needed
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
2 years of related experience
Experience building and improving processes and establishing metrics to track and illustrate performance
Experience in handling OS&D
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
It’d be great if you also have:
Experience effectively leading, coaching and developing teams
Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations
Strong critical thinking and planning ability; flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to dive into the details
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate information in a clear and understandable manner
This job requires the ability to:
Walk and/or stand for extended periods, up to 4 hours at a time, in a warehouse environmentBe part of something big.
