Essential Duties and Responsibilities Included But Not Limited To:
Lead, coach, supervise and share best-proven safe work methods with all maintenance team members for maximum equipment uptime delivering efficient and safe operations.
Conduct daily running inspections of all facility areas and equipment to ensure the safety of our people, equipment and facility.
Perform daily corrective and emergency work order scheduling.
Responsible for scheduling, completion and compliance of all preventive, corrective and emergency work orders.
Responsible for maintaining all equipment maintenance records.
Lead daily and weekend maintenance scheduling of planned PM’s, project work and emergency work orders.
Member of plant leadership team
Lead and supervise plant maintenance programs based on proven best practices with an emphasis on preventive/predictive maintenance practices.
Supervise and implement the use of critical spare part inventories and maintenance supplies re-ordering as necessary to prevent asset downtime and optimizing asset uptime.
5S-clean, organize and establish best layout for maintenance repair shop and spare part storage areas.
Implement continuous improvement projects to increase maintenance and plant efficiencies.
Maintain OSHA compliant working condition of all electrical units and systems in the facility
Lead, train and develop maintenance technicians so all plant objectives are accomplished in a safe and cost effective manner.
Conduct employee performance reviews
Works closely with plant process engineers and product engineers to ensure annual savings projects and new product develop activities are supported to completion.
Communicates directly with the operations team to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas to reduce or eliminate downtime.
Schedule and work with outside contractors as necessary.
Qualifications/Requirements
Associate’s degree (A.A) or equivalent from at wo-year College or technical school; plus six-years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or
Four-year engineering degree or eight-years of demonstrated equivalent experience .
Windows, Microsoft proficient, able to create worksheets, forms and presentations necessary for effective and efficient leadership.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Understanding of statistical process controls.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands:
Lifting and pulling up to 100lbs occasionally
Frequent walking, bending, squatting and kneeling
Noise conditions vary from quiet to very loud-hearing protection required in some areas
Some outdoor work probably less than 10%
Primary area of production is air conditioned
