Assist in the development, implementation, management, and evaluation of assigned Food and Nutrition Services. Food & Nutrition Services—Development, Coordination, Oversight
Responsible for direct implementation of systems and processes for service delivery in the Food Pantry & Nutrition Health Education, including curriculum delivery, documentation, inventory management, ordering, purchasing, pick-up and unloading, stocking, food bag preparation, reporting, tracking, and distribution.
Establishes, models, and maintains a client focused approach with the primary goal of addressing food insecurity, educational needs, and the social determinants of health.
Collaborate with Care Management, Supportive Services, Harm Reduction, and/or Clinic staff to coordinate provision of meals and/or snacks for support groups, education groups, meetings, and/or individual lunch for a patient/client in need.
Oversee proper sanitation, handling, preparation, storage and delivery of food products according to local health codes.
Work with the Food Program Assistant to maintain the orderliness and cleanliness of the Food services space on a daily basis.
Demonstrate developing knowledge of HIV/AIDS, food insecurity, nutrition, and related issues.
Drive assigned vehicles.
Maintain Level 1 Food Handler Certification.

Establish and model excellent Customer Service that is patient focused, solution oriented, and seeks to address the social determinants of health by providing food and education to participants without judgement and by removing any unnecessary barriers.
Manage Day to day integration of the Food & Nutrition Services into Trillium Health’s multidisciplinary team structure in order to support a holistic, coordinated, and patient/client centered care experience.
Model and facilitate effective teamwork and collaborative behaviors towards Trillium Health coworkers and interagency colleagues.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Food Program funding sources and ensure ongoing compliance with any relevant funder regulations/guidelines.
In conjunction with leadership and Grants office, participate in discussions that evaluate potential funding opportunities and contribute to any associated proposals based upon Subject Matter Expertise (SME).
Assist to develop, maintain and implement current/accurate policies and procedures for all Food and Nutrtion services.
Assist with building and maintaining collaborative relationships with Food Link and other organizations/businesses that donate food/goods to the Food Program with the goal of securing additional contributions/supports overtime.
In consultation with leadership, develop goals related to poundage of food distributed, number of individuals and families served, and other metrics to demonstrate the impact of the Food Program.
Compile, analyze, and report program data as requested.
Supervision and Performance Management
Supervise and manage daily activities of assigned staff and volunteers.
Monitor staff productivity, professional development, and problems/issues through regular supervision and review of program work.
Responsible for completion of all human resource and fiscal paperwork, including time cards, purchase requests, etc.
With Manager support, responsible for the interviewing, hiring, onboarding/training of new Food Program staff.

Qualifications
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, public health, psychology, sociology, or related field; two years of relevant experience; demonstrated leadership, mentoring, or supervision required.Required qualifications:
High School diploma with three years of relevant experience; demonstrated leadership, mentoring, or supervision required.
Level 1 Food Handler Certification
Must be able to meet agency driving policy requirements for this position, including a valid NYS Driver License and a good driving record.
Some flexibility with schedule required.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks on a daily basis for long periods of time.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to stand, sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Regularly, the employee must stoop, bend and lift or move up to 30 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
