Supervisor, Accounting - Consulting ServicesBirmingham, MichiganEmployment Type: Full-TimeCompensation: $66,000.00 - $80,000.00 (Range applies to US candidates only) + Benefits/Variable Comp/Equity - Range may vary based on experience.Benefits Offered: Vision, Medical, Life, Dental, 401KABOUT THE JOBThe Supervisor, Accounting - Consulting Services will be responsible for developing an overall strategic vision to drive and manage the consulting services performance, accounting, and related processes for compliance in a high growth, fast paced environment. You will work cross functionally with other accounting, consulting, and finance teams to enhance our internal processes and systems to drive full compliance and automation of the consulting services teams' financials performance and revenue metrics. Collaboration with sales, services finance and other functions or customers is a must.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Work closely with Services, Sales Operations and Finance teams to ensure appropriate SOWs and change orders meet defined criteria for factors to support profitability and collections of consulting servicesReconcile amounts on orders submitted from Sales to the reported bookings and revenues received from FinanceWork with Services and Sales on non-compliant SOWs and change orders and provide direction and clarity on steps to resolve order issuesAct as a point of contact for Sales and Services questions relative to SOW quotesReview data accuracy in Salesforce.com, Kimble PSA and Intacct accounting systemManage full life cycle of SOW, including budget, forecast, and actual performance and delivery of implementation and consulting service delivery and billingResponsible for ensuring timely billing of all servicesAssist with accounts receivable collections to ensure timely cash receiptCommunicate and collaborate on process challenges with internal teams for process efficienciesPerform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as requiredAssist with month end close process as neededHands on knowledge of Intacct, Salesforce, CPQ, and Concur and Kimble PSAAn understanding of the software industry is highly desirable.Responsible for leadership/development and project reporting standards.QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATEREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience work experience.3+ years of experience managing accounting and financial reporting, with experience partnering with Consulting Services and Training teams within a Software Company.1-2 years of supervisory experience.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.Ability to work with a large, global, functionally diverse, and informed user base that demands high-quality applications.PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEExperience with:Sage IntacctKimbleExperience reviewing consulting services contracts.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTESStrong analytical and problem resolution skills along with the ability to communicate results both verbally and in writing.Strong interpersonal skills.Self-motivated and willing to work in an energetic, fast-paced team environment.Able to manage multiple projects at a time.Self-directed, organized and an aspiration to constantly improve.Unquestioned integrity and values that the organization can trust without reservationA highly motivated team player who contributes to an atmosphere in which people collaboratively, enthusiastically, and effectively produce resultsLegally authorized to work for any company in the United States without sponsorshipWHO WE ARE
