The Diagnostic Instrument Engineering team is responsible for algorithm development for scalable digital assays including cervical cancer screening, bladder cancer diagnosis, and more, using Machine Learning and imaging analysis technology with integration of modern ML workflow platforms and tools.
Throughout the 10-12 weeks you'll have the opportunity to participate in the following:
Migrating internal slide repository & tool to Azure
Assist in developing ML workflow data tracking and labeling tools
Support and performing unit testing
Gain experience in ML development and data science in the Medical Diagnostic industry field
We're looking for bright, inquisitive problem solvers who strive to make a difference. Key qualifications include the following:
Able to work full-time over the summer months (May-August)
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master's degree program and have at least one semester remaining to complete after the internship
Rising Senior or Graduate student
Majoring in Computer Science / Data Science, MBA, or a math-related degree preferred
Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.2/4.0
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience or exposure to working with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Python, .asp.net core, javascript & node.js, MS database/SQL, C, C++ Ability to work onsite at our Marlborough, MA campus. Intern housing, relocation, and housing stipends are not provided.
The hourly pay range for this role is $26 - $35 per hour. Compensation is determined by class standing and operational function.
