The Breast and Skeletal Health upstream marketing team develops and drives the strategy for the product portfolio and owns the commercialization process of the Minimally Invasive Breast Solution (MIBS) products.The team collaborates with cross-functional teams to increase the relevance and value of the portfolio.
Throughout the 10-12 weeks you'll have the opportunity to participate in the following:
Assess future product direction and user needs withing the MIBS portfolio by conducting primary and secondary global market research
Understand the clinical and commercial needs of customers in the breast biopsy and breast surgery space
Assess the technical feasibility of a new product by interviewing R&D stakeholders and evaluating current literature
Compile clinical, commercial, and technical findings to develop a business case with product requirements, market opportunity, and project timelines
Present a final recommendation to business leaders on the future needs of customers about the Breast Biopsy and Breast Surgery portfolio
We're looking for bright, inquisitive problem solvers who strive to make a difference. Key qualifications include the following:
Able to work full-time over the summer months (May-August)
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master's degree program and have at least one semester remaining to complete after the internship
Rising Senior, or Graduate/MBA student
Majoring in Engineering or Marketing preferred
Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.2/4.0
Strong written, verbal communication and analytical skills
Experience or exposure to working with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to work onsite at our Newark, DE or Marlborough, MA campus. Intern housing, relocation, and housing stipends are not provided
The hourly pay range for this role is $19 - $30 per hour, or $45 per hour if grad/MBA student. Compensation is determined by class standing and operational function.
