Support circuit design, component selection, procurement, and prototype hardware debug and builds.Review and develop hardware and software requirement documents and test plansStrong record keeping skills with commitment to tracking design changes, debug status.
Qualifications SoughtMust be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited 4-year university or college.Attained at least a Sophomore Status based on university/college's class standing requirements at the start of the internshipPreferred - GPA of 3.0 or higherMust be at least 18 years oldMust be a U.S. Person (i.e., a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.)Must successfully pass standard pre-employment screens and must provide an official college or university transcript from their school before their first day of employment.Must be able to complete a minimum of a full time, 3-month assignmentBasic proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to use Engineering Development and Test Tools.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with interdisciplinary teams.Strong multi-tasking skillsAdditional Information / Desired ExperienceDigital and Analog circuit design including power and thermal analysis.Schematic development, component selection, circuit simulationMicroprocessor based products including processors, chipsets, memory and bus interfaces, networking standardsHC12 Microcontrollers and x86, Power PC Single Board ComputersIndustry interface standards an
