Summer Intern - Business Development As Business Development Intern, you'll be provided with real-world business-to-business sales experience. You'll build your knowledge of sales prospecting strategies, cold-calling techniques, and work with leading-edge Salesforce technology to track sales activity. We're willing to work with you and your university to meet internship credit requirements. Timeline, Commitment & Pay Anticipated start is in early to mid June 2024 Program runs during the summer of 2024 with potential option for extension 15-35 hours per week $18 per hour Fully remote position Primary Job Accountabilities: Prospecting:Cold calling prospective customers; Tracking daily activity in Salesforce; Create, develop and present talk track and elevator pitch to peers; Online research to identify and qualify ideal customer profiles; Work with current portfolio to expand product offering Field Experience: Travel in local market with assigned Sales Executive mentors, if possible Backend Support: Learn full sales cycle process in Salesforce including tracking, monitoring & closing accounts; Other duties and learning opportunities as available Final Deliverable: To demonstrate your new-found knowledge, you'll create, develop, and present a sales pitch deck to senior leaders at Restaurant Technologies. Minimum Qualifications: Is self-directed, takes personal responsibility and is willing to be held accountable Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision Strong communication skills with the ability and willingness to talk to prospective clients and salespeople via phone and email Dedicated work space to allow for quiet/minimal distraction phone work Preferred Qualifications: Completed Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program from an accredited college or university; Business major preferred Sales experience or related customer service experience Experience utilizing MS Outlook, Word, Excel, CRM or comparable technology.
