　　Position summary: Responsible for various tasks and projects to enhance their experience in the civil engineering field utilizing their education.

　　Essential Functions and Responsibilities

　　Perform field investigations and document site conditions

　　Perform basic engineering computations related to multiple civil engineering projects

　　Provide input on solutions to problems using basic theories and engineering fundamentals

　　Assist with layout and design of engineering projects

　　Make edits and updates to existing engineering construction drawings and calculations

　　Assist with the development of civil engineering design reports and appendices

　　Assist with the development and preparation of specifications and engineering cost estimates

　　Assist with administrative duties

　　Maintain accurate and current project documentation

　　Perform other related duties as assignedRequired SkillsRequired Experience

　　Full time undergraduate student in ABET accredited civil, water resources, or environmental engineering program Preferred Experience

　　Coursework in related field

　　Previous internship experience

　　Basic AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience

　　Working Conditions

　　Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
