JMT, currently ranked #59 on Engineering News-Record's list of the Top 500 Design Firms.Position summary: Responsible for various tasks and projects to enhance their experience in the civil engineering field utilizing their education.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesPerform field investigations and document site conditionsPerform basic engineering computations related to multiple civil engineering projectsProvide input on solutions to problems using basic theories and engineering fundamentalsAssist with layout and design of engineering projectsMake edits and updates to existing engineering construction drawings and calculationsAssist with the development of civil engineering design reports and appendicesAssist with the development and preparation of specifications and engineering cost estimatesAssist with administrative dutiesMaintain accurate and current project documentationNonessential Functions and ResponsibilitiesPerform other related duties as assigned

　　Required ExperienceFull time undergraduate student in ABET accredited civil, water resources, or environmental engineering programPreferred ExperienceCoursework in related fieldPrevious internship experienceBasic AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experienceWorking ConditionsWork is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking.
