Join us in lowering the cost of access to space and enabling Blue Origin's vision of millions of people living and working in space to benefit Earth.Interns work directly with our experienced engineers in support of our Environmental Health and Safety team within our Safety and Mission Assurance business unit. Projects may include supporting EHS Engineer in training, organizing, and streamlining EHS content, ad hoc EHS requests including industrial hygiene and environmental permit data assistance. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. This internship will last 12 weeks (May-Aug or June-Sept).Location: Kent, WABasic Qualifications:Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in occupational health or environmental studies/science, preferably in Washington state.Have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.Available to work full time for a minimum of 12 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.Desired:Students who have acquired a junior or higher academic standing by the start of the internship are preferred.Relevant internship/co-op and academic project experience that demonstrate development of both technical skills as well as leadership qualities.Hands-on project experience.Passion for space.Don't meet every single requirement?
