About Substitute Teaching Assistant

　　The Niskayuna Central School District is now accepting applications for substitute Teaching Assistants for the 2023-2024 school year.

　　Job Qualifications

　　New York State Teaching Assisant Certification preferred. Exceptional candidates without certification will be considered for employment as a Substitute Teaching Assistant (for a maximum of 40 school days) until certification is desired. Minimum requirements include:

　　High school diploma or equivalent.

　　New Your State Assessment of Teaching Assistant Skills (ATAS)

　　Completion of workshops in: Child Abuse Identiifcation, School Violence, and Diginity for All Students (DASA).
