Our client in Cowlitz County has a need for Substitute Food Service Helpers to assist in the function of their food preparation and distribution during lunch hours. Some local traveling within Kelso city limits may be anticipated depending on the location of the need for that day.

　　Essential Job Functions: Maintaining a sanitary kitchen area, food preparation, serve food, document inventory, some baking, checking safe food temperatures and proper food storage, responding to inquiries from staff and students, report equipment malfunction, stock condiments and supplies, assist other staff as needed. Must be able to professionally, safely, and efficiently serve food and beverage to children.

　　Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for full shift, on potentially wet floors, lifting up to 50lbs, carrying, stooping, pulling or pulling a cart or hand truck, reaching, handling utensils with fingers, balancing a tray, bending, working near hot cooking appliances, working around a freezer or cooler area.

　　Work Schedule: On-call and to be determined Monday through Friday availability is beneficial Needs are irregular, but with the potential to work into permanent position

　　Wage: $16.28/hour
