　　What will you be doing?

　　In this position you'll be working directly with research animals in a laboratory environment where your will impact millions of lives. We're looking for candidates that have our strong commitment to Animal Welfare, read more about that here https://biopharma.labcorp.com/about/animal-welfare.html . in addition to a passion for science. In this position you'll be performing animal husbandry duties as well as task according the study protocol. This is a daytime position that requires working every 3rd weekend. Duties include but not limited to;

　　Daily observation of animal health status with documentation

　　Assist with record keeping

　　GLP-like good documentation practices according to management standards and complying with Quality Management System

　　Perform blood draws including exsanguinations on specific species according to protocol and client request

　　Adhere to strict SOP’s, assist with review and update of applicable SOP’s

　　Stock supplies for building

　　Perform various types of inoculations on all species with assistance pertaining to your work area

　　Cleaning of buildings, cages, walls, floors, and daily clean-up of designated work areas

　　Assist with facilities duties, including dumping of pans and changing out cages, when needed

　　What do we look for?

　　High School Diploma or equivalent, highly encourage candidate with college work or degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Technician, Biology or other related fields to apply.

　　Preferred but not required prior animal handling experience especially with rodents

　　Strong commitment to animal welfare

　　Stable work history.
