Responsibilities As a Student Volunteer (Intern), duties will depend on your major and the Program Office (PO). HUD is currently accepting applications for progressive thinkers who are looking for an opportunity to collaborate with new ideas and tools to support the programs that HUD provides to the nation. The selected candidates will serve as a Student Volunteer (Intern) with HUD and may be placed within one of HUD's POs based on the office's function and the student's major, skill sets, and interest. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be at least 16 years old. Must be enrolled at least part-time at an accredited academic institution. Must maintain status as a current student in good standings during your internship. Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service. Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation. Qualifications You MUST submit academic transcripts demonstrating that you meet the eligibility requirements. If you do not submit sufficient academic documentation necessary to demonstrate that you meet the eligibility requirements described in this announcement, your application will be deemed incomplete, and you will be ineligible.
