  Job Description:

  Parsons has contributed to major infrastructure projects in Canada since the 1940’s , helping to design and build many well-known landscapes across the country, including the 401 Expansion, Regina Bypass, Turcot Interchange, Kicking Horse Canyon, Olivier-Charbonneau Bridge, and the Edmonton Light Rail Transit.

  The Parsons’ signature stands out and our achievements have been recognized via numerous awards for innovation and quality, particularly in long-span bridges, complex bridges, and major road networks expansions. Our students participate in a wide range of projects and can expect to gain experience in design, project management, proposal development and relationship building.

  Our goal for the Intern Program is to provide a valuable experience that is personal, educational, and intentional. We are committed to treating our interns like regular, full-time employees in the sense that we allow you to get involved in meaningful work.

  We are currently growing are critical infrastructure team in the following areas of engineering and design

  Structures (bridges and tunnels),

  Water Resources,

  Roadways and Highway Engineering

  Transportation,

  Traffic,

  Environmental, Construction Services,

  Planning

  Active transportation

  Rail

  Qualifications :

  Enrolled in a Bachelor of Applied Science (or equivalent) from an accredited university.What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  Potential candidates must be able to demonstrate their report writing and oral communication skills.

  Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite (with an emphasis on EXCEL and WORD applications).

  Knowledge of relevant design standards, and basic skills using design software.

  The ideal candidate is a team player, has the ability to multitask while working on many projects at once, and is self-motivated.

  This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
