Providence is calling a Student Intern, Helpdesk Support who will:

Work as a member of the Enterprise IT team

Offer tier 1 IT support to end users via phone, email, helpdesk ticketing, and messaging

Facilitate the transfer of escalated (tier 2) IT support requests to the appropriate team(s)

Configure, package and ship IT equipment to new employees

Facilitate and manage IT equipment returns

Assists with and actively participates in departmental projects and initiatives

Please note the following important details regarding this role:

Providence welcomes 100% remote work for residents who reside within a one (1) hour commute of our office location listed below:

Oregon: Salem

This is a temporary, non-benefitted position

This role is intended to be a summer position for a current college student or high school student that is college bound

The successful applicant for this position will be employed for a duration of time during the Summer of 2024

The program will last approximately one year and is anticipated to end around 8/30/2025, however, this may change based upon an actual start date for the role and department needs

This position will require for you to come into the office as defined by management and departmental needs

Required qualifications for this position include:

Coursework/Training: Acceptance to or current enrollment in a minimum 2-year degree program

Coursework/Training: Pursuing a technology related degree or equivalent

No actual work experience in an IS environment is required
