　　We are hiring an aspiring Structural Engineer for an internship during the summer of 2024 . This position will be located in our Wilkes-Barre, PA office.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Structural Engineering with a focus on structural design

　　Assisting in preparing engineering-related calculations, design drawings, specifications, and visual aids

　　Assisting with fieldwork (e.g., construction observation, soil sampling, site inspections)

　　Reviewing submittals and technical documents to assess compliance with project requirements and preparing draft documents

　　Preparing CAD drawings in accordance with NECS standards and under the guidance of a CAD designer

　　Miscellaneous assignments on an as-needed basis

　　Qualifications:

　　Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university or college

　　Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel

　　Steel and concrete-related courses

　　Previous internship or fieldwork experience

　　Knowledge of Revit

　　Knowledge of IBC International Building Codes

　　Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

　　Work visas and PERM applications are not supported in this role
