Description:

　　Currently seeking a Civil/Structural Design Engineer. This position is focused in design engineering for a mid-size consulting firm. Projects are typically small to mid-sized for heavy industrial clients. This position will start in heavy design work and progress into more engineering and project management. Heavy structural focus- retrofit projects within existing industrial facilities.

　　·Civil/Structural Engineering degree from an ABET accredited undergraduate program

　　· Preferred coursework in any of the following software: AutoCAD, Revit, 3D CAD, Advance Steel, RISA 3D

　　· Knowledgeable of basic civil and structural material specifications to the extent that all information required for material purchase, fabrication and construction is reflected on the finished drawings

　　· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

　　· Strong communication and organizational skills

　　· Must be results oriented

　　· Must be a team player

　　Team size-1 Department Manager (PE), 1 senior engineer (PE), 2 engineers (both PEs), and 1 senior structural designer

　　Smallest team they have but work closely with the mechanical, process, and electrical teams

　　M-F, in office position (office is located in Midlothian, VA near interstate 288 and route 360)
