Veritas is looking for a Strategy Manager to join the Veritas Strategy team that serves as the core “think-tank” of the company, focused on driving company and product strategy, conducting market and competitive analysis and driving annual planning. This role will be a hybrid work arrangement with 3-4 days per week in-person (at HQ in Santa Clara, CA).

Responsibilities:
Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Strategy Officer and his product leadership team on strategic topicsLead cross-functional strategic initiatives by partnering with operational leaders across the organization (e.g., product management, engineering, sales and marketing)Partner with senior leaders across the organization to drive the strategic and annual planning processesSupport Product Management teams by conducting competitive market analysis to gain insight on cutting-edge technologies that address key customer challengesConduct market scans to identify and categorize companies within the market ecosystem, and proactively pursuing potential partnerships or M&A opportunitiesBasic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in computer science, engineering, or similar discipline; MBA/MA, or other graduate degree in related field is a plus5+ years of work experience; 3+ years of demonstrated success in roles with significant executive exposure (e.g., Strategy, Consulting, Business Operations, Investment Banking)Executive level communication skills (both written and verbal)
Critical thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills and an analytical / data-driven mindset
Strong ownership mindset with ability to identify opportunities and execute with limited guidance
Comfortable collaborating with senior business executives, product technology leaders and customers
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with enterprise SaaS and broadly cloud products / solutions, technology development, enterprise product management and/or marketing
Prior work experience at consulting companies like McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Deloitte, is a plus
CA, CO, NY & WA remote - $164,000 - $246,000
