Job Description
The Strategist is responsible for leading the thought leadership for dedicated account(s), is expected to successfully craft a marketing story using data and research, demonstrates high-quality execution, and consistently delivers assignments on-time and on-business objective. This role contributes to department processes, and larger agency initiatives and focuses on honing strategic consumer insights skills. In addition, the Strategist is responsible for Intent-Based Marketing support, competitive analyses, integration into media and content teams, insight development from tools and research, project management and execution.
Role Objectives:
Account Management
· Responsible for identifying key consumer and competitive insights for brands
· Collaborates with other department leads to share ideas, communicate service offerings, and identify and deliver new solutions for clients
· Responsible for ensuring project timelines are on-track and that deliverables are held to best-in-class standards
· Leads & co-leads insights, performance and strategy presentations
· Attends client meetings on an ongoing basis, interfaces as needed with middle management clients during meetings and presentations
· Keeps senior management apprised of key client opportunities, potential risks and other key nuances which affect the health of the business or department
· Supports leadership in scoping of projects, the creation of project plans and ensuring their successful delivery
Intent-Based Marketing
· Contributes to developing and implementing Intent-Based Marketing, Performics’ proprietary communications planning methodology.
· Creates formal and informal presentations to win and educate clients, prospects and internal teams on the benefits of Intent-Based Marketing
· Expert in all research tool and vendor capabilities, use cases and actively monitors and trains employees
Cross-Selling
· Understands and explains the features and benefits of all P&I products and services as an expert
· Cross sells products and services to increase account penetration
· Looks for opportunities to cross-sell in dedicated accounts
Team Leadership & Development
· Embraces and encourages a culture based on teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree, concentration in behavioral sciences, brand planning, marketing, social analytics or advertising preferred
· 2+ years of business experience in Marketing, Advertising, or Consulting
· 2+ years of account, strategy, research, or comms planning experience
· Great presentation and interpersonal client skills
· Creative and analytical, left brain-right brain skillset
· Self-starter; motivated; energetic; Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Curious, resourceful, and driven to solve problems
· Comfortable with ambiguity and lack of direction
· Flexible and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
· Strong organization and time management skills
Preferred Experience
· Experience in one or more of the following areas: User experience design, digital strategy, shopper marketing, creative strategy, in SEM/SEO/Social/Display ( WIth an analytical focus/ expertise)
experience working with large data sets and p[resernting
· Experience working with CPG, Retail, Tech, and/or Education brands
· Experience with primary and syndicated digital research
